Keyara Joseph previously trained towards a professional career in Classical Ballet, primarily under the direction of Nazgul Ryskulova Shinn. Keyara began her ballet training at a relatively late age of thirteen. Due to this late start, her first 2 years of training with Ms. Nazgul and Mr. Askar was focused to accelerate her training and to catch up with those in her age bracket. Through extremely hard work and dedication, Keyara was able to achieve many successes and she advanced very quickly. Only two years after she began ballet in 2016, she placed in the Top 24 in two regional YAGP venues in the Womens Senior Classical Division. Aside from her day to day training, Keyara was invited to attend renowned summer intensive programs such as the Kirov Ballet Academy in Washington D.C, Princess Grace Academy in Monaco and the Bolshoi NY Summer Intensive. Keyara was ultimately invited to train full-time at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, Russia. After studying abroad in Moscow for six months, she decided to take a break due to a recurring foot injury. During this time, Keyara spent many hours working closely with Ms. Nazgul, observing classes and learning teaching methods. Keyara’s love for ballet, passion to help others, and natural patience and ability to connect with children is what brings her to the Premier Ballet School of Orange County team.
